Onyx cameo, 17th century. Christ and Virgin. カメオ

Beautiful onyx agate cameo, engraved on both sides of the same agate, with a total of five layers (there is a very thin white layer between two layers of brown), representing the bust of Christ in profile left on the obverse and the bust of the Virgin in profile to left on the back.
Great sensitivity of the modeling.
Perfect original condition.
The gold setting is ancient, perhaps is it the original frame.
