Roman intaglios and cameos

Art Nouveau brooch, “Naïad”.

Art Nouveau chased gold, adorned with plique-à-jour and translucent enamel, depicting a "Naïad", greek divinity of the fresh water (springs, rivers...). Very delicat carving, even at the back. A natural pearl is suspended under the jewel.
High quality with heavy weight : 15.1 grs !
French work (warranty mark : eagle's head), circa 1900.
