Gold 18th century ring. アンティークリング

Exceptional gold ring set with an octagonal enamel miniature scene depicting a young lady offering a garland of flowers on a Cupid's altar with two doves. The scene is framed by a blue and white enamel border, enhanced by 4 rose-cut diamonds. The hinged bezel of the ring is opening to reveal a secret place, probably to keep hair, portrait or such token. Such a ring in perfect condition, showing a secret mechanism is of extreme scarcity.
England, circa 1780.
